Keiji Takeuchi is a Japanese composer and sound designer who worked at Compile. He joined the company around 1989 and left around 1993. He is best known for games such as Aleste II, Seirei Senshi Spriggan, and Blazing Lazers. His music for GG Aleste and Space Megaforce in particular were highly acclaimed in Japan. After leaving Compile, he continued working in the music industry, scoring music for television and film. He is currently active on the Japanese site Nico Nico Douga as "KG Takeuchi" (KG being the local pronunciation of his name) releasing arrangements on his previous game music compositions.
