Kazuko Umino is a Japanese composer and sound designer known for her work with Taito. For twelve years, she scored numerous arcade titles, studying music production under Hisayoshi Ogura. Some of her notable works include Liquid Kids, Pu-Li-Ru-La, and Bust-A-Move. As a part of Taito's sound team Zuntata, she performed with the band as a keyboardist.
Umino later left Taito to go freelance, and eventually dropped out of the game industry to become a piano teacher.
