Jonathan Smith (better known as Joffa Smith) was an influential English game developer. He was known for making games for the ZX Spectrum that utilized several sprites and parallax scrolling. He had also worked on many aspects of game development; primarily programming, but also worked on graphics and sound.

Smith passed away on June 26, 2010 after a battle with an unknown illness he had suffered for a few months.
