This is the first occurrence of the Chex Quest introduction tune. The song is named D_Intro in the WAD file, just like in Doom (DOS). There is also a special AdLib version of the song called D_IintroA, however, unlike Doom, the file is identical to the MIDI version.

Although Chex Quest 2 is a mod that uses most of the original media from the original WAD, the Chex Quest 2 PWAD contains a second copy of the D_Intro and D_IntroA MUS files, even though they are identical to the first game.
