I Hear You Crying
Composer Todd Porter
Released 1990-??-??
Title Origin Official

I Hear You Crying, often titled Character Creation was composed by Todd Porter for Ultima VI: The False Prophet. The song is played when you create a new character and take the virtue test. The song begins with a piano with bass accompaniment, and around the 1:05 mark plays a higher pitch eerie sounding instrument.

The official title comes from the Origin Soundtrack album, however, many people refer to this song as Character Creation because of where it's played and because its file name in the original DOS version is Create.m.

The song can be played on six different sound cards, though the Covox Sound Master soundtracks has yet to be recorded. Each sound card yields a very different sound. The MT-32 is the most crisp and less artificial of the recordings, but the AdLib is probably the most memorable sound due to it being the most popular sound card of the time.
