Hiroto Kanno

Hiroto Kanno is a Japanese composer, sound designer, and sound programmer who worked at Graphic Research. He was Fumito Tamayama's boss, and was in charge of Graphic Research's sound team Team Hyakumangoku. Kanno programmed sound drivers for the platforms the company worked on including Game Boy, NES, and Genesis.

Aliases
Hiroto commonly used the alias Raika no Papa. Translated, this means "Father of Raika". It is most likely his child's real name was Akira, as Raika is not a real Japanese name.
In Psycho Fox, he is credited as Mr. Question, with his staff photo being a black silhouette with a white question mark in the facial region. It is unknown why Hiroto chose to be secretive about his identity in the game. It is possible he wasn't satisfied with the music he wrote for such a limited console, or because of a contract from Vic Tokai. It is also possible Vic Tokai outsourced sound to Graphic Research and didn't know the identity of the composer as a result.
