Hideyuki Ashizawa is a Japanese composer and sound designer. He has been responsible for over 60 titles and worked for multiple game companies. He started off as a composer for TOSE. Later, he left TOSE and started working for Winky Soft, working on their Super Robot Taisen series. In the mid-90's, he started working at SNK working on their The King of Fighters series. Later, he became a composer for Quire working on their computer titles.

Besides video games, Ashizawa also works as a composer, arranger, J-POP composer, commercials, and other media. He has also released a few electronic solo albums. His first album was released on iTunes, "Sine wave avenue", and made it on to the iTunes Top Electronic No. 2 albums, and reached 27 on the charts there. In addition, he also did the cover art for this album.
