Hard Drivin' is an European-only Commodore 64 port of the arcade game of the same name that was developed in 1989 by Domark.
Due to the limitations of the Commodore 64, the colors was reduced, limiting it to yellow and blue.
The game was only made by three people, programmed by Mike Hutchinson and graphics by Andrew and Ralph McCarthy.

Music
The game only includes a title song and four sound effects, all in David Lowe's driver. The arrangement has many similarities to Lowe's earlier one of Poker Face - Power Drift (C64). Dave Lowe should be asked if he did in fact compose and arrange the music and sound on Hard Drivin' (C64), and if anyone else ever used his driver.
Recording
The current recording has a 1-second gap at 3:18. The song should be re-recorded twice (plus 10 seconds fade-out) on a C64 PAL.
There are issues with the timing of this recording. |
