George Villiers

George Villiers is an English professional musician. He was born in Jersey in 1948 and is based in South Devon. At the age of thirteen, he started playing guitar, and had previously studied the piano. He studied with John Mills and Julian Byzantine, and was in a master class with John Duarte. His work can be heard on radio and telivision. He has also performed a Gala Recital in honor of the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth. He released his first solo album, George Villiers Plays Guitar in November 1988. In addition, he composed the music to Steps in Time, which helped to teach dancing and movement. He also edited Classic Duets for the guitar, which was published both as a book and cassette by Harpocean Limited.
In the 1990s, Oxford Digital Enterprises hired George to compose music for their games.
