Game Studio was a Japanese developer created by Masanobu Endoh. While the company consisted of ex-Namco staff, they still managed to maintain a strong relationship with the company. The company primarily produced Nintendo Famicom games. While the company usually ported Namco's arcade games to the Famicom and Super Famicom, they also developed original titles of their own such as Quest of Ki, Wizardry and the Family Circuit games. According to the Hot Scramble credits, they programmed their Famicom games on HP64000 LD-System Hewlett Packard computers and made graphics on SMC-777 Sony computers.

The company housed some of the main staff at Namco including programmer Kazuo "Cross" Kurosu, graphic designer Yuichiro "You" Shinozaki, and composer and sound designer Nobuyuki Ohnogi.
