Facing the Spider
Composer Bobby Prince
Released 1993-12-10
Title Origin Official

When you reach the spider mastermind boss of Inferno (E3M8: Dis) in the game Doom you'll hear Facing the Spider. The song was composed by Bobby Prince in Sequencer Plus Gold. The song sounds like it was inspired by S.O.D.'s Sargent D & the S.O.D. or perhaps Slayer's Silent Scream. An earlier version of the song, called un08.mid, was released at John Romero's web site. It is included in the Doom music rip.
