This page is for the Dragon's Lair (NES) song, for more titles see Ending.

Ending plays after you complete the final level of Dragon's Lair and the one-screen ending is displayed.

The song was written by Mark Cooksey in C-Lab Notator for the Atari ST, and then converted into his sound driver. The song is in the key of C and plays in the 4/4 time signature. It does not loop, and is one of two songs of the soundtrack not to loop, the other being The Elevator Shaft.

Though the song is the same between the three regions it was released in, each version plays the song differently; The Japanese version plays the song faster than the North American version and changes a few of the notes around the 0:24 mark (0:20 in the Japanese version and 0:24 in the European version), and the European version plays slightly faster than the North American version but also plays a half-step flat.
