- This page is for the Wolfenstein 3D song, for more titles see End of Level.
End of Level, also referred to as Gimmie Fanfare is a fanfare from the Wolfenstein 3D series. It's a nice happy reminder that you're making progress infiltrating the Nazis. The song was composed by Bobby Prince using Sequencer Plus Gold. The title changes between games, so Bobby Prince should be contacted for the official title.
Games
Wolfenstein 3D (DOS)
End of Level plays at the end of each mission in Wolfenstein 3D (DOS), excluding the final missions.
The tune is track 17 in the AudioT.WL6 file, and the IMF meta data lists the title as "GIMMIEFAN", possibly "Gimmie Fanfare".
Spear of Destiny (DOS)
End of Level plays at the end of each level in Spear of Destiny (DOS), excluding the final boss level.
The tune is track 17 in the AudioT.SOD file, and the IMF meta data lists the title as "ENDLEVEL", which is where the current title comes from. In shareware release it's "GIMMEFAN" (sic) and it's number 4.
Wolfenstein 3D (SNES)
End of Level is included in the SNES version of Wolfenstein 3D, but its place is occupied by Roster and thus leaves this track unused.
Wolfenstein 3D (ARCH)
Wolfenstein 3D (JAG)
End of Level, just like in the original games on MS-DOS, plays after completion of a level. However, it also plays after completing the game and on the Meet the Cast screen.
The song's internal name is "0GIMEFAF".
Wolfenstein 3D (GBA)
Just like the others, this track is left unused in GBA version. Probably it was meant for the same place as in the MS-DOS version.
Wolfenstein 3D (AST)
End of Level, just like in the original games on MS-DOS, plays after completion of a level.
Voxelstein 3D (W32)
Plays at the end of the only level in this game. Since the game utilizes shareware MS-DOS Wolfenstein 3D files for music, the content is the same, OPL2 track was just emulated.
Wolfram (W32)
In Wolfram, End of Level plays at the end of each level (except boss level). For this game, original MS-DOS Wolfenstein 3D tracks were just recorded into OGG files. Due to different emulator, it differs from the original, but very slighty.
