Doom II: Hell On Earth is the first port of the second portable console part of the classic shooter, this version was licensed by Id Software, developed by Torus Games, Inc. and published by Activision Publishing in America, Europe and Australia for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in 2002.
This port is more worked, the guys of Torus Games did an excellent job on the Game Boy Advance, it was made of everything the adaptation was better optimized and more faithful to the original version, it was based on the DOS controls was better adapted, the textures had to make several technical sacrifices, the music became a little better than the version of DOS.
Some graphics were improved, new features were added such as the DeathMatch mode brought from the version of Doom through Game Boy Player in GameCube or through the cable GBA Link, storage possibilities and support to Stereo, and new exclusive mechanics of this version were added.
It was well received by users who owned a Game Boy Advance, it was very good the team Torus Games was the one who did the best job of carrying to comparison the version of Doom For the same console, it got better rating but only the only bad were at certain times the fps were lowered but were stable.

Bobby Prince originally worked on the music from the original version, but the port went back to Activision, so he was looking for a candidate developer but would no longer be David A. Palmer Productions, that was the team Torus Games experts in ports and their music transfer and special effects handled by James Langford as an audio engineer.
It was better adapted by Torus Games and it was made of all kinds until the final version came out, although as it is missing several tracks it is not known why that was done or if they are all tracks.
The music was adapted to the GSF system to the AMP IR3R60N audio chip which played 32-bit sound but still worked with music and special sound effects.
It has 19 tracks missing 2, which are not known if they were made or were only part of the beta during development.
