Devin Hurd is an American composer and sound designer. His best known soundtracks are for the Dynasty Warriors games. Devin first started working on video game music in April 1994 at Orca Games. Sometimes he'd use the company name as an alias. At the beginning of 1996, Hurd quit Orca Games to work for Humongous Entertainment, in which he was a programmer there. In February 1998, he left there and worked for Boss Games as their main audio designer. He left Boss Games in June of 2002 and worked for Jade Studios a month later and left a year later. In 2004, he worked for Versaly Entertainment and also left the company a year later. In May 2005, he worked for Kush Games until the beginning of 2007. Then he worked at Big Huge Games along with Grant Kirkhope. In May of 2009, he worked for 2K Games not only as a composer and sound designer, but also as a senior sports analyst. In September 2010, he worked for Day 1 Studios, in which he worked on the soundtrack to F.E.A.R. 3, though he never actually composed any music for the game. He left Day 1 Studios at the end of 2011. Ever since May 2012, Devin has been working at Ubisoft.
Devin is one of the many talented composers in the industry, showing many genres of music in his compositions, including classic rock and jazz.
