Death Crimson OX in Japanese (デスクリムゾン オックス) is a port of the Sega NAOMI version for the Dreamcast console, being developed by Ecole Software Corp. and distributed by Sammy Entertainment Inc. .(in America), Ecole Software Corp. (Japan and Australia) and KUDOS (in Eastern Europe) in 2001 with no release in Europe until Guncom 2 (PS2) arrived as a port and release in that territory (including Japan).
This port lives up to the previously released arcade original, having new forms of compatibility with many types of controllers such as Dreamcast Mouse and Keyboard, Dreamcast light guns (pistol shaped controller) and the original Dreamcast controller with the ability to save. game in the VMU.
Technical improvements were made in all its technical qualities, the quality of the music was improved, the resolution of the textures changed a lot, the mechanics were changed to adapt to the different compatible controllers, including accessories.
Its distribution in Russia is very unknown since it never reached the European continent but Australia through distribution from Japan without translation into English which did happen only in America.

Masafumi Ogata, Kaoru Mizuki and Yūki Kisaragi were the audio designers on this version, they composed the original tracks and later created a port for PlayStation 2 in 2003 in a game called
Guncom 2 (PS2).
They were the ones in charge of arranging and transporting the music to the ADX format provided by CRI Middleware for the Sega Dreamcast.
