Deadly Arts |

Deadly Arts in Europe and Japan (あえぎ - G.A.S.P.P!!! Fighters' NEXTream) is a game with a very explicit name in America, being of the martial arts and fighting genre, being developed by the division Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka Co, Ltd. and published by Konami Co. in USA, Canada, Europe-Oceania and Japan in 1998 for the Nintendo 64 as a console exclusive.
The game deals, in training, one-on-one and tournament modes, the player can engage in combat as a variety of international characters. The player's goal is to defeat each opponent and advance through the ranks until all are defeated. Each fighter has a repertoire of standard attacks and unique special attacks.
In addition to the two-player options, a new fighter can be created and trained up to an elite level. Almost Street Fighter style only in 3D.
According to review aggregation website GameRankings, the game received negative reviews. Matt Casamassina of IGN criticized the game for having "outdated first-generation graphics, terrible control, and obnoxious frame rates. In a similar vein, Jeff Gerstmann concluded that the game was too simple and uninteresting in his GameSpot.
The game, according to Next Generation, "wasn't just a damn fighting game from ****, but a sad excuse for a game in general." You'll want to skip this experience due to poor control, bad graphics, and completely generic designs. no exceptions. In Japan, Famitsu rated it 19 out of 40.
Its technical level was very devastated, it is not identified why this happened in the game but its music is not known if it is outstanding or passable but it was very bad.

Its music, not very remarkable but something could be salvageable, was made by Kazuhiko Uehara and Rumi Uyama during the development as sound composers, the musical arranger was Hideto Inoue as sound programmer.
His music is classified by 22 tracks, 2 of them are still unknown, maybe they were part of the beta during the development.
Its mix looks like it's a Contra: Hard Corps (GEN) pasted with a OutRun (GEN) only with CD-chip quality tuning, as if it's trying to be unbridled action but the opposite happens due to the low frame rate per second.
Its music is passable, but if the Nintendo 64 in principle was CD I think it would not play against the original music, but there is something positive the game supports the Dolby Surround that almost does not stand out.
