David Hanlon is an English video game developer. He started off at Bullfrog Productions in 1986. In 1995, he left the industry to work at Comax Business Services as a Team Leader. From 2001 to 2021, he worked at IDBS for various positions.

Today, Hanlon currently resides in Farnborough, England.

Audio Development

Amiga

For Dragon's Breath, Hanlon used his own format called Digital Sonix & Chrome. For Druid II, Fusion, and Populous, he used the Digital Sound Creations format created by him and Andrew Bailey. However, Populus also uses Rob Hubbard's audio driver, as he composed the game's title music.
