Dave often used the pseudonym Sinbad. The etymology for this alias is unknown.
While not an alias per se, in the PC-9801 version of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, his name is listed in the manual in Japanese, デイヴ・ハスラー (Deivu Hasurā).
