Danny Whelan was mainly a programmer, best known as the voice in World Darts (replacing Pete Gartside's).

At school, Whelan met John Pickford and Ste Pickford. They lived around each other's corner in Stockport and collaborated at different game developers in Greater Manchester. Sadly, Whelan suddenly passed away just after new year.
