Dan Miyakawa is a Japanese composer, arranger, musician, saxophonist, and keyboardist from Tokyo. He graduated from Waseda University. Around this time, he joined a band called Love Tambourines. For the band, he served as a saxophonist, keyboardist, programmer, flute, and an arranger for the group.
He worked on a couple video games, most notably Kirby Super Star. However, he worked at HAL Laboratory for a very short period of time, and it is unknown what his exact role was or if his work even made it into the game.
After leaving HAL, he became a full-time musician. He composed, arranged, produced, and remixed music. He has also arranged theme songs for films.
