Commander Keen VI: Aliens Ate My Babysitter!

In Commander Keen VI: Aliens Ate My Babysitter! Billy's babysitter Molly has been kidnapped by the Bloogs. Keen travels to the planet Fribbulus Xax in order to rescue her. All of the old controls are in episode VI. You still hop on your pogo stick, shoot your neutralizer, and battle your way through multiple action platformed levels.

Despite advertising the next game in the Commander Keen series at the end of the game, it would never be made due to id Software moving on to first person shooters. The final nail hit the coffin when creator Tom Hall left id Software and the rights to Commander Keen remained at his former company. So, this ended up being the last canonical game in the series.

Music

Much like the earlier two games, Commander Keen 6 has several light-hearted bouncy tunes that are both catchy and silly. It also has a couple more serious sounding tracks for the more difficult levels. Bobby Prince wrote the music from ground up for the Sound Blaster FM synthesizer since the availability of true wave table synthesizers was uncommon at the time. He used Sequencer Plus Gold for the composing itself.

The titles were conceived of and verified by Bobby Prince directly.

The IMF files were ripped from the Huffman compressed Audio.CK6 file, using the look up stored in the EXE file. The IMF music was played with AdPlug 1.7, and recorded with Winamp. A couple of rearranged MIDI files composed by Bobby Prince are included in the rip download.

The archive also includes MIDI versions of several songs which are remakes arranged by the music's composer Bobby Prince to try and capture the originally intended sound before the FM Synthesis downgrade.
