Case in Point: Paste is one of the 10 different songs that are played during a regular game. It is the sixth track that is played. The tracks are played in sequence starting from Pork Parts and ending with Neep Ninny-Bod (Mix 2), at which point the list starts over from the beginning.

A MIDI version of the song was also composed in Cakewalk that was used in the demo version of the game. In the MIDI audio track, it was used as the first track out of eight total. These were played in sequence starting from Case in Point: Paste and ending with Neep Ninny-Bod, at which point the list started over from the beginning. It is notably the only new track in the expansion of which a MIDI version was composed.

The track was composed by Stephen Rippy using a Boss DSS-330 synthesizer and an E-mu ESI-32 sampler. Finally, the mixing and editing was done using SoundForge.

The song title has been confirmed by Stephen Rippy.
