Bruce Sandig is an unofficial name of the sound driver used in Softie's NES games. It was programmed by Bruce Sandig.
Only two games used the driver; Classic Concentration and Harlem Globetrotters. Both games were composed by Rob Wallace in Voyetra Studio Pro for the Amiga. Wallace gave his music files to Sandig to convert into his sound engine, which used a custom Music Macro Language and assembly.
Release History
It was first used in 1990 and last used in 1991 in two games, as Softie only released two games for the NES. It is thought it would have been used in the unreleased Super Password as well.
Output
The driver outputs to the NES 2A03. It does not use the DPCM channel.
