Brain is a song from Epic Games.

If you left the setup with Adlib card on, Brain is chosen randomly alongside HHJJ and China every game.

For recording, the game was played on a real Pentium 60 MHz with a Sound Blaster 16 CT1740.

Title

The filename is brain.am1 and, apart from am1, may have come directly from Froelich.

Composition

Froelich arranged using a mouse in Visual Composer (probably version 1.5 or later), and somebody optimized his files using ROL2MIDI (an early version).

From the beginning, the composition quotes Dragnet.

The OPL rhythm mode instruments in order of appearance are:

  1. LOGDRUM1: clockwork
  2. ?: bass with chorus, sometimes double octave
  3. HIHAT1
  4. SNARE1
  5. BDRUM1
  6. MARIMBA1: fast melody, either with chorus, echo, or doubling LOGDRUM1
  7. OBOE1: soft, oriental melody
