Bishoujo Shashinkan: Studio Cut (FDS)
|Bishoujo Shashinkan: Studio Cut|
Bishoujo Shashinkan: Studio Cut (美少女写真館 スタジオ・カット Pretty Girl Picture Gallery: Studio Cut) is an unlicensed pornographic game released for the Famicom Disk System at an unknown year. The game can be beaten by literally holding the turbo A button, or rapidly pressing the A button.
The game looks and sounds like it may have been developed by Micronics staff, as the game has similar sound and graphic styles.
The game was programmed by Tomekichi Suzuki, with graphics by "Mummy" and music by "Dementia".
Bishoujo Shashinkan contains only one song that plays throughout the entire game, so it may get a little irritating hearing the song for a long period of time. The game's sound engine sounds like the one used in Micronics games such as '89 Dennou Kyuusei Uranai, Zoids 2, and Kaiketsu Yanchamaru 3.
This was the only "Bishoujo" title released for the Famicom Disk System which had credits. It is unknown who the composer is, but it sounds like it could be Joe Hisaishi or Kimio Nomura, if the game was really developed by Micronics staff. It is unknown if Tomekichi programmed the sound driver or if "Dementia" programmed it on their own, or if they used Micronics' sound driver created by Giraffe Soft programmer Hiroto Nakamura.
Ripping NES music is an arduous process that is beyond the scope of this site.
Bishoujo Shashinkan: Studio Cut uses the Nintendo's RP2A03 chip for music and sound effects. The first square wave plays at a volume of 15 (0F) while the second square channel plays at a volume of 8 (08). Both square channels play a 25% duty cycle.
