Bi-Fi Roll - Action in Hollywood is a point-and-click adventure. During his vacation job as a courier, the student Lukas has to deliver a screenplay directly to the managing director of a film studio, only to find that he disappeared. As he searches the building for him, he notices peculiar mishaps.
The game was an advertisement for a German snack brand and freeware from the beginning. It was praised for its moderate length and humor, cracking many puns on famous films and stars. In contrast, the advertising is unobtrusive and said by a few gamers to have had no effect on them.

Music
The music ranges from disco, over ominous and laid-back pop, to soft jazz, with a warm FM sound, complemented with digital drums, dominated by toms. Most songs are used in multiple rooms, either fitting, exaggerating or missing their mood. Though technically competent, it is unnoticed by reviewers and players alike.
If AdLib is selected instead of Sound Blaster, Silent Walking is heard with a very restrained drum beat and the other songs with no percussion at all. The game temporarily modifies the Sound Blaster 16 settings to match the volumes of the YM3812 chip and the samples.
The Amiga version has completely different, more detached music by Rudolf Stember.
Recording
All songs were recorded from the original game running on a Pentium 60 MHz with a Sound Blaster 16.
