In Battle of Britain you control the Royal Air Force as it defends itself from the oncoming German military. You issue commands to your airfields to scramble planes into the air for defense. In addition to the strategy elements of defense, you can also be involved in action sequences if you choose. Then, you can engage the Nazis in a dogfight and shoot ground fire at their bombers. As the game progresses, and the German onslaught continues, your planes and airfields will take on heavy damages. You must repair them and keep the fleet operational to survive.
