The title remained unnamed until 2009 when the song appeared on the official soundtrack album, Legend of Joe Musashi: Shinobi - Music Collection.

Shinobi's first background music is heard in M1S1 (Mission 1, Stage 1), M2S3, M4S1, and M5S2.
