The BBC Micro is a British 8-bit home computer.
Despite being most popular in schools, the BBC Micro spawned several video game series, like Elite, Repton, and early ones by Geoff Crammond. Martin Galway first arranged music on a BBC Micro at school, then at his first job, applied at Ocean Software with this work, and seconded the idea of adding the BBC Micro to MobyGames.
