Aric Wilmunder was a programmer who worked for LucasArts from around the mid-1980s to the late 1990s. While he mainly worked as an engine programmer, a role in which he designed the famous SCUMM engine used by nearly all of the company's adventure games, he also worked as a sound programmer on several of the company's games.

Wilmunder designed the company's initial DOS sound driver when they brought music development back in-house after outsourcing it to Realtime Associates for several years. He would subsequently help with the integration of the newer iMUSE driver into the SCUMM engine.
