Arctic Adventure: Penguin & Seal (NES)
|Arctic Adventure: Penguin & Seal|
Arctic Adventure: Penguin & Seal (also known as The Penguin & Seal) is an unlicensed NES tile-based puzzle game developed by Sachen, published by HES and released in 1989. As the title suggests, the player controls a small penguin, who needs to collect a certain amount of gems and bring them to his igloo, but at the same time watch out for seals.
This game was also included as a part of the Mindblower Pak multicart.
Much like the game itself, the soundtrack is pretty primitive, though some tracks like the high score theme are quite catchy.
The music was recorded during gameplay using FCEUX, because the NSF rip is missing a few songs.

The only person who worked on Penguin & Seal is Li Cheang Ma and he is credited on the title screen as "L.C. Tchacvosky".
As mentioned above, the NSF rip does exist, but it needs to be fixed as it's missing two tracks; Stage Theme and Life Lost.
This game uses the console's built-in RP2A03 chip.
