Wings of Death (AMI)
|Wings of Death|
The music was composed in multiple genres, such as rock. Even the guitar solos are heard.
The Wings of Death 7 was later covered in Seiklus (W32), and a 1 minute and 23 seconds piece of the Wings of Death 5 is included in the "Jochen Hippel Megamix" on the album Insert Disk 2 by video game music remixer Instant Remedy. This megamix also includes parts from level 1 and 6.

A logging dump of the level music (from Wings of Death 1 to Wings of Death 7) also exists in CUST format, which is also supported by DeliPlayer. It was created because there aro no proper HIPC players. The SC68 rip of title theme and Thalion intro also exists, that's why it was added also.
Please Wait tune doesn't have a rip in all four audio formats, although the Amiga version has it just like the Atari ST version.
Since there is no proper rip for all tracks, multiple methods were used for recording: SC68 Player, JAM For Windows, DeliPlayer and recording sound from the game itself in attempt to get the best sound quality for each track.
The game use standard Commodore Amiga MOS Technology 8364 (PAULA) chip. Very modern for the 1990 (even the best for 1990 year MT-32 standart for IBM-PC fails in comparsion with this), it allowed game to implement digital sound effects.
