Wayne's World is a point-and-click adventure game loosely based on the movie of the same name. The player takes control of both Wayne and Garth simultaneously as they go through the game. The plot is that during their show, they get a caller who says the mayor is shutting down television networks and unless there is a private donation of $50,000 then Wayne's World will be canceled, so Wayne and Garth must get the money in 3 days from midnight.

Music
The music offers four great sounding rock tracks. Rob Wallace showed off his amazing talent in this game's music, however the music from the movie is not in the game. This was due to the developers of the game not being able to get the rights to the songs. The music was composed in Digital Orchestrator Pro. There is also a test song for MIDPAK also written by Rob Wallace but since it isn't the game itself, it is not in the soundtrack.
The soundtrack includes both a MIDI and AdLib recording of the soundtrack. The AdLib soundtrack starts with a 1, the MIDI soundtrack starts with a 2.

Wayne's World uses the XMI format that was popular for many DOS games. The AdLib recording was made using MidPak, and the MIDI recording was made by converting the XMI files into MIDI files with XMI 2 MIDI and playing them back in Sonar 8.5 Studio.
