The song is particularly cheerful and upbeat compared to the rest of the music of Ultima: Exodus (NES), however, the arranged version has a smoother sound, possibly indicating that the tune's bright sound was a result of the conversion process to the NES audio chip.
The title is the translation of the title on the Ultima Mix album (未知への航海, Michi he no Koukai).
