Tomoyoshi Sato is a Japanese music composer and sound designer. He joined Data East around 1990, and it appears his first work was Super BugerTime. While working there, he mainly composed for their arcade games. In addition, he was also a guitarist for Data East's in-house band Gamadelic as Tom Sato, a shortening of his given name. He usually worked alongside the likes of Tatsuya Kiuchi and Mihoko Ando. Some of his best known works include The Great Ragtime Show, Night Slashers, and Flying Power Discs.
Around 2000, Tomoyoshi departed Data East and started working at Altron. He worked primarily on their handheld titles for the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS. He worked for the company for around a decade.
Today, Sato works at A-lim, a developer known for their Brave Frontier series of games.
