Title Origin Official

The Wander, often titled Dungeon, and not to be confused with Wanderer, is a song composed by Todd Porter for Ultima VI: The False Prophet. The song is played when the party is in a dungeon or underground area.

The official title comes from the Origin Soundtrack album, however, many people refer to this song as Dungeon because of where it's played and because its file name in the original DOS version is Dungeon.m.

The song can be played on six different sound cards, though the Innovative SSI-2001 and Covox Sound Master soundtracks have yet to be recorded.

Although the song is only 0:53 in length, the actual music file loops the song doubling the time to 1:46. Since the game automatically loops the music, the second play through is redundant. The reason for this loop is unknown, but a second song Can't Remove the Pain, also loops internally.
