Most of the music from this game are better arranged versions of songs from a previous Dragonlance game, Death Knights of Krynn which was composed by George Sanger and David Govett. The game offers nicely composed orchestral tracks. George Sanger created his composition in Digital Performer and David Govett used Dr. T's KCS for the Atari ST. We have contacted both composers who have verified the songs they worked on. The music was later used in FRUA (Forgotten Realms: Unlimited Adventures), a program which let users create their own AD&D game. The MIDI version of the music is meant to be played back on a Roland MT-32 sound module. Most of the encounter songs are also used in the game's demo.
Since there is an AdLib and MIDI version of the music, the MIDI soundtrack starts with a 1 and the AdLib soundtrack starts with a 2. The music does not loop in-game, so it is not looped in the soundtrack. The music for this game would later be used in Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures. The MIDI version was recorded in a sequencer to prevent the cut off at the end of the song. The AdLib version was recorded in the game itself for the same reason.

The Dark Queen of Krynn is the third in the trilogy of the Krynn games. At the beginning of the game, the characters are summoned by General Laurana to investigate rumors of evil creatures threatening the city of Caergoth. The heroes are quickly led to travel to another distant continent of Krynn, Taladas, where the forces of evil are hatching their plans.

Music

Recording

Since there is an AdLib and MT-32 version of the music, the MT-32 soundtrack starts with a 1 and the AdLib soundtrack starts with a 2. The PC speaker and Tandy music still need to be uploaded. The music does not loop in-game, so it is not looped in the soundtrack. The MT-32 version was recorded in a sequencer to prevent the cut off at the end of the song. The AdLib version was recorded in the game itself for the same reason. The music does not loop in the game.
