Tatsuya Nishimura was a Japanese composer and sound creator. Barely anything is known about him besides the companies he worked for. His name first appeared in games developed by Tose near the end of their NES development, with his first known title being Bases Loaded 3. Then he was later credited in games developed by Capcom. Because he worked for Tose, a company which didn't believe in giving credit to their staff members, any games that he composed for them that he was lucky enough to get credit in, he had to use an alias. According to Mitsuhiko Takano, he left Tose in 1993. After he left Tose, his music for Bases Loaded 3 was later used in Bases Loaded 4. Tatsuya was mainly credited for creating sound effects, but also wrote the soundtracks for some of the games he worked on. Because of his alias in Bases Loaded 3 and his quotation in Bases Loaded 4, it seems that his music was heavily influenced by funk and soul music, though his music shows elements of rock and roll as well. Recently, Tatsuya has been credited in games developed by Square Enix for Quality Assurance.

His NES music sounds similar to Marshall Parker.
