Release Date
Numerous sources list the release date of the Atari ST port to be 1987, because much of the game's literature and even the loading screen lists the copyright at 1987. However, this is the copyright for the Arcade game. The Atari ST release wasn't released until 1988. One very obvious reason for this is that in the Atari ST game, Tim Follin covers a song from the NES game, but that game wasn't released until July of 1988. Also, while the promotional materials read 1987, the game doesn't start appearing in review magazines until late 1988, indicating a mid to late 1988 release date.
