Super Sprint is an unlicensed NES game ported from the arcade game. In this game, you take control of a car in an overhead view and the goal is to get to the end of the race before the other cars do. The NES port of Super Sprint is arguably better than its arcade counterpart; the controls are tight in the NES version while in the arcade version, steering the car can be a pain since you slip and slide all over the place. Along the way, you can buy one upgrade for your car at the end of every race using the two wrenches you collect on the track. The upgrades include Super Traction, Higher Top Speed, Turbo Acceleration, and Increase Score. The game has seven levels that will constantly repeat until you lose.

Music

Unlike its arcade counterpart, Super Sprint on the NES has very little to offer in the audio department. There are only a couple of songs; one that plays at the title screen, and another that plays when you win the race. These songs are actually not from the arcade version. Brad Fuller vaguely remembers doing the music for this game. It can be assumed that Brad did the music and Hal did the sound effects since Hal's arcade music was not ported to the NES but his sound effects were, and Brad did not work on the arcade version. According to Fuller, his NES music was written in Music-V Language.

The USA version contains credits, but the Japanese port doesn't for whatever reason. Probably because the developers didn't think the kids in Japan would care, or they probably wouldn't understand English.
