Richard Joseph was a computer game composer, musician and sound specialist. He is especially known for his Commodore 64 and Commodore Amiga music, but he consistently kept composing music for games up to 2006.

In summer 1986, he was one of three judges on a ZZAP! 64 magazine music competition that Anthony Lees won against Barry Leitch, Jonathan Dunn and Neil Baldwin.

Unfortunately, Joseph died of lung cancer on March 4, 2007; he was 53 years old.
