Norio Nakagata was a Japanese composer who worked for various game developers. He started into the video game music world when he worked for Namco in 1985 and composed the music for some of their games. He later moved on to KID where he was their first sound designer. Later, he worked for Meldac and composed and directed one of their NES games Zombie Nation. After that, Norio started working for Kaze.
Norio Nakagata currently runs digifloyd.com.

Zombie Nation
For Zombie Nation, Norio used a sound driver that was programmed by the game's programmer, Kunihito Hiramatsu. He wrote the music in a format similar to Music Macro Language.
