This page is for the ZXS game, for other platforms see Nemesis the Warlock.

Nemesis the Warlock is a single-screen platform shooter based on the comic book of the same name. You play Nemesis and it's up to you to defeat the Torquemada, the Grand Master of Termight. He sends waves of Terminators at you, and you must defeat them in order to move on to the next level. Although the game isn't the impressive to look at, it has several interesting elements that make it memorable. You have several weapons to work with, a breath weapon, pistol, and sword. Also, as you kill the terminators, their bodies pile up on the ground, and you can step on them and use them to climb up onto platforms. The ZX Spectrum port isn't as good as the Commodore 64 version.

Music

Rob Hubbard's tune isn't quite as good on the audio hardware of the ZX Spectrum, but it's still a wonderful piece.
