Naohisa Morota was a Japanese sound programmer who worked for Sunsoft. Naohisa started off porting arcade soundtracks to the NES. He created the sound drivers there. He is also responsible for the digitized bass samples used in Sunsoft's NES games. In 1993, he left from Sunsoft and joined to Konami.

What's more is that he was the programmer behind the Sunsoft 5B chip used in Gimmick!, which had an on-board YM2149 and is the only game in the entire NES library to have this.
