Mortadelo y Filemón II: Safari callejero is a Spanish two-level arcade game based on the comic series about a bumbling intelligence agency.
Professor Bacterio has invented a formula that makes hens lay eggs as fast as machine guns. During the night, an enemy accidentally sets the hens free, and one of them, Marcelina, eats an important microfilm. In level 1, you play unknowing agent Filemón; you "have" to catch all the hens and give them to your partner Mortadelo to cook them, while avoiding a mad pig. Once you cook Marcelina, you incur the wrath of your boss, El Superintendente Vicente, and level 2 starts. You now play Mortadelo, a master of disguise, and must use these disguises to avoid obstacles in front of you as well as obstacles El Super throws at you.
The CPC port has better colors, but is much slower than the other ports. Level 1 is therefore hard to play, but level 2 plays quite well.

To the main menu and level 2, the same jolly song loops. Unlike the other ports, it does not play to level 1, possibly because it is slow enough as it is.
