Monty on the Run is one of the best known games produced on the Commodore 64. You must help Monty Mole escape from the country, as he has just broken out of prison.

Music
The game's music was composed by Rob Hubbard. Knowing that, the listener can already expect a great soundtrack. Monty on the Run is one of the most popular Commodore 64 soundtracks ever written along with other games such as Cybernoid II. While most video game tunes at the time lasted about 30 seconds to a minute, Rob went above and beyond and composed a 5-minute in-game tune. The game can be beaten in around 12 minutes, so it doesn't really get annoying.
Rob programmed his own sound driver on the SID chip, and wrote it in assembly.
