Koichi Sugiyama is a classical music composer for videogames. He is famous for his Dragon Warrior soundtracks (Dragon Quest in Japan). When Sugiyama was young he would always hear music and he liked to hear it. While he was attending high school, Sugiyama decided he wanted to pursue music as a career. He saw that Enix was looking for a composer. He thought he would try it out, so he sent out to Enix some of his compositions and they liked his work and asked him to write music for their games and Sugiyama accepted.
