Kris' Music System is a music format named after its creator Kris Hatlelid of Distinctive Software. The songs are written in assembler macros and support AdLib, Roland MT-32, and PC Speaker sources. This format was also used for his NES, Genesis, Amiga, and Atari music.
Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge (DOS) uses the extension PKM for the music files which appears to be a compressed KMS file.
