Jangou (FC)

Jangou (雀豪 Jangō) is a game which plays similar to Mahjong. It was ported to many consoles including the Famicom in Japan. The main goal of the game is to get the most points. Before you can play, you must first enter your birth date and a PIN number consisting of four numbers. After that, you must enter a name. Once you're ready, you can pick one of five players and start. There are a few games in a session, and after each session, points are either awarded from you and/or the other three players.
The game may have been developed by Crosstalk, as it uses the same sound engine as Hillsfar (NES), but it has not been confirmed yet.

Music
The game has only three songs, which is extremely short for a Famicom soundtrack, especially one which was released as late as 1990. The title screen sounds like the game it represents, as it sounds like an ancient Japanese anthem. Whoever composed the music may have had to write the music in 6502 assembly language.
This game uses the same sound engine as Arctic (FC), Bakushou! Jinsei Gekijou (FC), and Hillsfar (NES).
